well... visited dad, went to pyramids, went to museum of ancient egypt, saw that all the mummies are SHORT compaired to how they portrayed themselves in giant granite statues and stuff...went on a boat ride in the nile...visited several old mosques, the citidel of Saladin, and the world's oldest library/university

I must say I was most impressed with the old mosques and their classic undefeatable artecture!

so do I... >.< but no, my next actual vacation wont be until Thanksgiving... wait, I'm not doing anything next thanksgiving... So that means my next actual vacation will either be Hajj, which I asked my parents to take me to as my graduation present, or the Spanish 2/3 trip to Spain, Portugal, and Moraco... which I need to seriously start saving/earning money for cause its nearly three thousand dolores (pun intended)

I went on Umrah several times in the past...I asked to go on Hajj as a graduation present...and graduation is a while off...and the next Hajj season after that is even further

this year its November 14 - November 17, 2010ish
and next year its November 4 - November 7, 2011ish
the exact dates can never be predicted because of the nature of the Islamic lunar calendar...
I'm not sure which one I'll be able to go on...and as for taking a break...I'm just going to go despite anything, its a religious thing, if the school/college doesn't allow it I can sue for not respecting religion

So far I've never had a problem with a school and their tolerence of religions so it shouldn't matter

I understand that. Religion is very important to many people, and I've seen people do everything they can for their religion. I admire that, actually, people standing up for what they passionately believe in.
