I kept meaning to stop back to your table to ask about doing an art trade, but I never got around to it. *so sad* I'll most likely be there next year. Tekko is close by and always fun!

Your dress up chibis were so cute! I don't know how much you were charging for them, but two magnets for one of them or something like that? Thankfully, my art is easily mail-able. ^_^

I was selling a character set for $8. You get the character base, two outfits and an accessory. A lot of people were selling single magnets for $4-$5 so it seemed fair. Everyone loved playing with them and I got a lot of comments that they were cute and it was a unique idea, they just didn't sell as well. I think I missed my target audience. The younger otaku either don't have their own refrigerator to put magnets on or they didn't feel comfortable putting naked chibis on their parent's refrigerators. I got a few comments about that.

That seems really cheap for all you get! I'm surprized you didn't sell more. I get a lot of people that don't know what to do with magnets either... They want stickers, but so many cons don't let you sell stickers!

I guess some hotels are worried that your going to stick them to hotel property. I mean, you could bring your own stickers and do that if you really wanted to.

Do you sell at any other cons? Every one has different rules and they keep getting stricter! I like Tekko because it's so layed back!

The only other con I've been to is Otakon and I didn't sell there. Of all the things crazy otaku can do to hotel property I can't believe they'd worry about stickers.

I sold at Otakon last year (and hope to again this year ^_^ ). I actually sold more at Tekko though, funny! I used to sell at Katsucon every year, but their alley rules have gotten ridiculous lately!

Are you going to Otakon this year?

That's too bad... I've been going to more and more each year and should probably stop adding cons! ^_^; So addictive though! With selling art they always pay for themselves, so I don't feel too guilty.
