I don't think he was being threatening. When he said, "the way its heading alot of you are going to end up whacked with the ban stick", I believe he was speaking to the numerous folks who have no netiquette, let alone dAtiquette. And it wasn't a direct threat, it was a warning that other staffers may choose to ban people who ARE being threatening and childish in general.
The feeling I got from this journal is that Β©mirrorkills is absolutely in support of our community, and of Β°jark . I see how you might have seen it as a threat, but honestly, you read too much into it. It's okay - things are heated right now. A lot of us are pissed. but we have to calm down and think creatively and positively.
As far as the non-submittal day... I agree with him. In order to be all about the community, we need to see and share our deviations with each other. I mean, what's the use of supporting Yellow Day by leaving comments on deviations, if there's no deviations to see? However, I am also all for deviants showing support in whichever ways they believe to be best. I think making art is the best way to go, personally. For our friends, for the community, for Β°jark , for whomever's side you're on, no matter what side it is, in whatever wars are affecting your lives.

You migh tbe right, I agree after reading your comment... Yet the tone in wich he puts it is to hostile for someone that is with us in my opinon. Why use so much cursing if you have an example function for the community, why speak as if 90% of the supporters are risking to be banned by speaking up?
