I think music wise it's close though I do think the singer for Heather Chandler is also a pretty awesome fit too. Ira's voice would be deep, more alto or second soprano. I actually I have both japanese and .english voices in mind for Ira (and they play the same character too: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVEQCw… .

no, he wouldn't make a very good hare i don't think. they're gluttonous soldier regimental types and treat things like a joke... i think Sybil would be a good hare lol.

Asher would be a pine marten. Lear would be a mouse or a squirrel i'm not sure.

Ahhh okay, I am not familiar with the Redwall series, but reading the wiki I agree. Ira definitely matches the badger. Orsin is dormice and Sybil would make a good hare or fox. Tristan matches the fox the best. Darrion might be a shrew. Cana is a weasel.
They don't have a thorough description for pine martens but I can see Lear as a mouse,
