Yeah, We chose her name from the film Amelie which is one of my favourites. The meaning of Amelie is industrious and charm. The character in the film so fits these definitions and our Amelie also has these qualities. The thing I love about my daughter is her infectious sense of fun. She has a great sense of humour, even for a two year old. Her middle name is Aroha.

I enjoyed that film too. It's wonderful that your daughter is showing a great sense of humour at an early age. Humour is so important. My daughter is 22 now, and she also had a great sense of fun from a toddler. She's a bit bogged down with exams at the moment - but I'm sure the fun will be back next week when the exams are over

I'm really enjoying being a Dad. It has come a little late for me as I'm 42 later this year but I don't mind. I only hope I can keep up with them as they get older and I get more more oler myself!!

Thanks...planning..i thought of it...sketched/wrote down the idea...than went into my psuedo studio after i had mused over it briefly, I started shooting using simple lighting directed at my face...I didn't have to do many takes because I knew most of the look I needed to achieve would have to be Photoshopped, i.e. darkening the shadows, sharpening my eyes and decreasing the highlights on the fork...but now I realized that it would have looked better with a fork in one hand and a knife in the other...i'll probably do it again that way...
