Out of curiosity, why do you think the author chose to call it Lambda Power anyway? I know Lambda is near the center of the Greek alphabet and maybe it has to do with the middle or center to relate to balance as she used it to balance/recalibrate the universe and stop Chaos from overwhelming everything, but that still doesn't really explain why it was called Lambda. Maybe it just sounds cool? I dunno, what're your thoughts?

It has to do with the manga of sailor Moon (Act 52 - Stars 10)
quote: "This power of rebirth is the realization of the power of all the galaxy's sailor crystals as one. This is the Cosmos Crystal's, making everything into the static Cosmos, the ultimate Lambda Power."
It is the Sailor Cosmos power, or to be exact, realisation of all the crystals as one.
Sailor Moon's Silver Crystal, is the realisation of all of her Sailors (Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) as one. They lend her the power.
She is Sailor Moon, with the power of her four guardians (Mercury,Venus, Mars and Jupiter). Remember her brooche from the season one- she has four colours, that is, the colours of her guardians.
Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto give her power up, and she becomes Super Sailor Moon.
When Saturn is awaken, she becomes Eternal Sailor Moon. Her brooche now contains all the colours of her guardians.
In the Couldroun, the last season, when the whole galaxy lends her the power, to defeat the Chaos, she receives the Lambda Power. That is, the power, she will always have, in her next reincarnation as Sailor Cosmos. When her Silver Crystal, is reborn as the Cosmos Crystal.
When Galaxia said, (Act 51) "You believe in such a distant future for this universe? Sailor Moon, are you the soldier that draws in everything? Sailor Moon... I've finally found it. My planet..."
That meant that she (Usagi) can take all the power of the Sailors, and use it, as one.
