I sincerely appreciate where you're coming from. A lot of the stuff that "offends" is from a while ago. People change, but I'm not censoring myself. If someone is offended by anything I create or say because of the god they worship that doesn't exist so far as I can tell, well, they need to grow up. Again, your concern for others, while I feel misguided, can be appreciated. But Jesus Christ on a cracker, there is so much more happening in the world to be offended at; a good deal of it due to bad ideas created in the melting pot of the Mediterranean region, Middle East, and the Roman empire of ancient times.

As long your dead honest for you who are and won't take out your rage on others, you could do all you want for all i care, just don't call out on other people and i don't care how you see Jesus christ he can be a myth or not but you can still hate on him. It's your actions on people i care about? No hard feelings ok?

Look, I respect the right of anyone to believe whatever they want. I even respect their right to say whatever they way.
They can call my mother a whore and tell me I'm scum from the pit of hell.
What I'm attacking is NOT human beings. I'm NOT attacking their skin tone. I AM attacking their ideas. Bad ideas. Magical fairy ideas that give them the idea that they are special for believing in their god while all who do not are doomed. Those kinds of ideas are dangerous and lead to attacks on satirical newspapers and the murder of cartoonists. Bad ideology. Bad fantasies. Just bad. Not good for anyone including the very people who spew it.
I don't respect religion. I DO respect a person's right to belong to a religion, and I will ridicule anyone who belongs to those dogmatic exclusive clubs that demand all others convert or die, in this life or in some imaginary after life.Β

As long you respect others on their beliefs ok? if you don't question theirs directly, as in calling them out specifically you're ok on my book, because it pisses me off of people who just calls another group on their beliefs that's practically the core problem of our society, also the only reason i go this far with you because you mention the fact that you studied years on religion and theology and read the bible so that's why i see you as an understanding person, instead of being a complete dick bag who doesn't even get their facts straight on what they hate, so yeah you get my point.

I just like your artowrk. It is really nice, and like you, I bond with the athiest beleifes. I am a athiest. I guess, I can express a certain degree of envy of your skills and the fact you have the good version of photoshop. I have photoshop, but it is the tougch version. And I like your cartoons on athiesim and your take on religion. I aslo like the Big Banf theory and the God Delusion. I guess, I show a fasionation for science, politics and contoversial topics. I think that god does not exist and the fact that he does is pure fiction.

Well I certainly appreciate your comments and compliments. Understand, that while I know I have talent and skill, I am more than aware of the legion of artists who make me look like a child with a box of crayons.Β
That's the way it always will be as it should. Without a challenge there is no progress. Many times in my life I have banged my head against the wall furious with myself for not being "as good" as others. I appear to be over twice as old you, Kasaundra, which means I've had that much longer to hone my craft. I've looked at a number of works from your gallery and you clearly have talent and really good grasp of depth, proportion, and control of line.Β By the time you are my age you will clearly be a masterβif you continue to better yourself. Continue to add to your repertoire of 'styles'.Β
There's no such thing as an original idea or style; only the culmination of other styles that went before mashed together to produce something new and unique in you. No one ever told me that when I was a young artist, but they should have. And when you finally feel you have reached the level of 'master', know that while many who have yet to acquire your level of skill that will faun over you and tell you how awesome you are, there are just as many who you can still learn so much from.Β
I implore you to continue drawing, never passing up the opportunity to learn from anotherβwhether they are more skilled than yourself or less.Β
You can learn from everyone; not just the best.
