Rosepetal hesitated slightly but said "My name? It is Rosepetal, sir." She looked around a little bit and saw that a lot of skinny cats were glaring at her with their claws unsheathed and their teeth bared. She refused to let her ears fall flat against her head. She also refused the urge to return the growls and hisses. Her focus was on the orange pelted cat.

Firestar lashed his tail to silence his Clan. "Do not mind them, Rosepetal," he said gently. "Things are a bit tense in the Clan right now. Help yourself to what ever fresh-kill you like, Skystorm will show you to your den." With that, he dipped his head and went back to his den, the warriors stepping aside to let him reach his destination.
Skystorm watched Firestar leave before lightly flicking Rosepetal's ear with her tail, the Clan shooting hostile glares at Rosepetal before going back to their business. "Lucky Firestar's nice. If it was Bluestar she would have driven you out the second you set paw in the camp." She cringed at the thought of their old leader, who died a few days after Skystorm was appointed a warrior. "Over here's were you'll be staying," she said, leading her to the old den Yellowfang stayed at. "I don't think you'll be guarded, but try not to get in any cat's fur."

Rosepetal looked at Skystorm with calm eyes. "Alright then..." she mewed "Thank you for the advice. I'll try my best to stay on the good side of your Clan." She sat down in front of the den that Skystorm showed her.

Skystorm settled next to her, her tail flicking back and forward. "Try to stay out of any cat's fur," she warned.

Rosepetal nodded "Agreed. They may be skinny but I can tell your Clan is pretty strong." she said before adding silently to herself 'But...they may not be strong enough to beat BloodClan.' She licked her paw and drew it over her ear.

Skystorm, as if reading her thoughts, bristled and unsheathed her claws. "My clanmates can beat any threat!" She snarled, loyalty to her Clan making her extremely protective of them

Rosepetal looked calmly over to Skystorm. "I see you're very loyal to this Clan. Are there other Clans then?" she asked before putting her paw down onto the floor. She curled her tail neatly over her paws.

Skystorm forced her fur to settle down and she sheathed her claws. "Yes, there's three other Clans. Across the river is RiverClan, on the moorlands is where WindClan lives, and across the thunderpath in the pinetrees is where you'd find ShadowClan."

Rosepetal nodded her head slowly. "Ah I see," she mewed "I never such things existed outside the so called 'Clan' that took me as prisoner."

Skystorm scrambled to her paws. "That's awful. That Clan doesn't even sound like a Clan." Shaking out her dark fur, she walked forward a few paces. "I'm gonna go for a walk and check on the borders. Better safe then sorry right now. ShadowClan and RiverClan have formed an alliance clan called TigerClan, and we're expecting trouble. Do you wanna come with me?"

Rosepetal rose to her paws and took a few paces forward. "I don't see why not. Maybe you can inform me more about these Four Clans on the way." she waited until Skystorm started moving.

Skystorm padded over to Firestar first to ask permission, when he nodded she lead Rosepetal through the fern tunnel and into the forest. "I think I'll take you to Sunningrocks," she said. "That's on the border with RiverClan."

Rosepetal followed, trying to remember what the ThunderClan territory looked like. Forest. Forest. Oh and more Forest. "Sunningrocks? Sounds like a place where snakes bask in the sunlight." she commented as she looked around.

"That's Snakerocks," she replied. She just kept padding along, pausing at the smell of squirrel. Her stomach growled. "I haven't eaten all day," she mumbled. She looked for the squirrel then dropped in a hunter's crouch.

Curious, Rosepetal lay down in the grass and watched Skystorm hunt. She figured that if her hunting stratigies were bad, maybe she could pick something up from the she-cat in front of her. 'So many things to remeber and do in this place. Not to mention hunting.' she commented mentally.

Skystorm took a quiet paw step forward before she raced out of the bush and bit down on the squirrel's spine, killing it easily.

Rising to her paws, Rosepetal's eyes had a glint of amusement. "Wow. That was impressive. May mean nothing to you though, right?" she said walking over to Skystorm, ignoring the clawing hunger that was in the pit of her stomach. She already took her share or prey, that's all she was getting for the day.

Skystorm dropped the squirrel. "We can share," she offered. "I've already patrolled enough for the day, so I can eat." Settling down, she nodded. "It's not really anything impressive. It's the first thing cats learn when they're made apprentices."

"Your Clan's learning ways seem to be very organized..." Rosepetal looked at her paws with slight embarrassment "It's only impressive to me since I'm not really from here. And you don't have to share. I've already taken some prey. It should last me this day and half of the next. That's how I would live in BloodClan." She pawed at the floor, avoiding Skystorm's eyes.

Skystorm nodded. "They are." Pausing, she looked at her. "No seriously. Eat," she whisked her tail. "There's plenty of prey here."

Rosepetal looked at the prey on the floor before sniffing it. "Okay then. You have my thanks." She paused for a moment before taking a bite. Her eyes brightened a bit as the fresh and still warm meat slithered down her throat as she swallowed it. She swipped a pink tounge over her muzzle.

Skystorm bit down on the squirrel too, being careful not to eat too much. Rosepetal needed it more then she did. Skystorm wasn't well fed like Kittypets, but she was in better condition then Rosepetal.

The two cats shared the squirrel until nothing else was left. Rosepetal blinked greatfully at Skystorm. "Thank you for sharing with me." she purred happily to show her thanks. She looked around. "So what is this 'SunningRocks' place?"

Skystorm got to her paws and arched her powerful back and shoulders into a stretch. "We're almost there," she replied. She took off in the direction of the river, stopping just as they came to a large open area where sunningrocks lay.

Getting on her paws and stretching slightly, Rosepetal continued to follow Skystorm. When they show up to sunningrocks, Rosepetal took in as much as she could see. She had never seen such a beautiful sight, in her point of veiw, even before.

Skystorm looked at her. "This is a pretty big piece of history," she said. "Where we're standing now, The river that's over there used to flow here. But it flooded one day, and the river changed course. Every since then, ThunderClan and RiverClan fight over this territory. Right now Sunningrocks belongs to us," she added. "We fought over it not too long ago."

Rosepetal stood still, taking in everything. "Fighting over this wouldn't surprise me." she said. "Just standing here gives me a strange sensation...Like, as if I have been on this land before. Or someone i knew."

Skystorm lashed her tail. "If Firestar takes you in you might fight here one day." She padded forward to stand on the warm rocks, looking into RiverClan territory.

Sitting for a small moment, Rosepetal let the idea of Firestar actually letting her stay creep into her mind. Would he really do that? Or would she be dead by then? Maybe she would be on her own. Rosepetal swished her tail before actually setting her cool paw onto the sun warmed rocks. Soon she was walking everywhere, looking around the area that was sun-touched. She looked over to Skystorm and bounded over for she had been a few feet away.
