yeah :/ I've been doing exams, working on an art project for school and drawing a month's worth of artwork for a friend...
which kinda means I haven't been on here much 
my exams and project are nearly over so I should be on more often for a while!

yeah I heard it had a virus :/
ours got 7 yesterday from a rogue site and the computer blue screen of Deathed on me
I basically had a panic attack.
but once you know how to solve it, It should be ok.
try starting you computer on safe mode (this basically uses less of you engine power. the screen will be bigger and in lower resolution, like windows 98 with a black background, but don't worry about it.)
at the side of you screen it should come up with a window saying you computer has some issues and gives you advice on how to solve it.
there should be a link and a paragraph talking about SYSTEM RESTORE or something along this line.
In it's life you computer saves itself on weekly schedules (more or less) as it's own mini backup. you can choose a date BEFORE you got the virus so it would be like it never even existed. (just be careful you don't go back to a time where it was worse!)In windows vista's case this doesn't effect your save files. It has always worked in the past before for us, but I'd check with a tutorial online first if you can get it running...
I'm guessing this is the same in other versions of windows apart from a few differences so I'd check this too.
if all else fails then there is one other thing you could do.
get AVG
it can sometimes be over protective, slows you computer down and be a TOTAL KILLJOY if you play games but it's one of the best programmes out there to kill viruses.
if avg is really bothering you, it's normally the firewall that slows everything down so i'd turn it off.
just don't rely on windows defender or something like Norton. we've used them in the past and they're no good by themselves. you can get a free windows doctor from there website that is good but doesn't slow you computer too. why not give them a try?
sorry I rambled for so long about computer stuff... my dad learned a lot about it in college and he taught me everything he knows ^^ I hope in makes sense from your point of view!
oh and also if you're at the point where a dead computer is better than a virus ridden one, delete system 32.
it will kill your computer.
instantly.
(even though I wouldn't really do it. Don't let a virus mess system 32 up though, otherwise it's screwed)
