Hello and thank you very much for keeping me in your devwatch even with you change of account. That means a lot.
I just wanted to let you know that I'm fianlly back on the internet, after 2 long months of silence imposed by Chinese government. Now things are stable again, and anyway I'll be going back to France in 2 months! So, if you need any help with the group again, I'll be more than happy to help. If you didn't already find someone else, that is.

I checked the changes you made in the group and indeed it's quite new. I like what you did with the folders. It makes sense to sort by month and is probably easier than sorting by media, which can be pretty confusing. I was just wondering... What happened to all the previous months?
I also saw the changes of rules. That's great that you posted the new (or... well, not so new anymore...) rule about photos of band. I think it makes things clearer. Do you have as many people posting wrong things as before?
Finally, I saw the new "Challenge Week" thing... That's a pretty good idea to keep the group active even if there are no contests. Good job
Don't hesitate to tell me if you need any help for anything; to be honest I don't have much ideas now about how to make the group even more active or better because you've already done so much

I'm more than happy to have you help again! I've sent you a promotion request, so check that soon. As far as the previous folders go, this is what I said about it in one of the recent blogs:
"I've re-structured the gallery folders so we could have a fresh start and clean up the group some. I've removed all the old folders and by doing that I ended up deleting all the old deviations which was not my intention, so I apologize for this! Since there were so many deviations being submitted to the wrong gallery folder, I've made it much simpler for you."
Let me know if you think any of the new rules need to be changed or if you have any input. I appreciate the help!

I have to admit I was a bit puzzled by the fact that the entries to the challenge at to be submitted as favourites, but I worked out that it means not needing to make a new folder first, and also allowing people to post something else for their submission of the week. So I guess that makes sense too. Good work
A new member asked me if she could put the name of the artist and the name of the album instead of the name of the song. I told her she could do that, as long as it's music inspired and made clear where the inspiration comes from. I hope I didn't make any mistake!
I also made a few suggestions in the forum, just added a "submission declined" message and slightly modified the welcome message. Tell me what you think!

What do you think of the submission limit of one per week? Is is too restrictive or just right? I wasn't sure so I thought I would try it out, but I also don't want to restrict anyone too much, so let me know what you think.
Yes, I thought for now that the challenges and contests could be listed in the favorites section since we don't really use the "favorites" for anything in particular and it would get in the way of the submission limit. I'm glad you liked that idea.
I don't see any reason why we can't accept the artist and name of the album. It was fine that you told her she could - thanks!
Also, thanks for making the changes and suggestions in the forum. I commented on them there, but really love both of the changes. I think they sound great!

Then, concerning the submission limit... I honestly don't really know. I find it really good that there is a limit, this avoids spamming the messages centers of everyone, and saves us quite some work. But at the same time I'm afraid the group's activity is slightly going down...
Maybe we should allow two or three deviations a week. That makes one every two or three days, which seems quite balanced. This would allow avoiding people who send all of their gallery all at once, while keeping the group a bit more active, with more art posted.
But to be honest, I am really not sure of that. Hard to make a decision about it...
