How big are the images you're trying to upload? If you're just trying to load a full-size scanned picture that was saved in MS Paint or something like that, chances are that the file isn't optimized for the web. I'd recommend saving any drawing you're going to post at about 600 X 750 pixels. That should load a lot quicker.

Yeah, I wouldn't say my DA accounts are dead by any stretch of the imagination, but I definitely haven't been doing as much as I used to. At least now I'm setting up some sort of schedule for commenting consistently as needed, but this account doesn't see as many submissions as it used to. Mainly because drawing pages for my manga comes first, and I'm working on more ambitious CGs than I used to these days.
