I would, but the uncompressed force of my rampant fav'ing would absolutely decimate DeviantART's servers. There's just too much awesome art, comics and animations on this website.

For the benefit of the community, I simply look, love the shit out of it and eventually move on.

Recently though, I've been seriously thinking about clicking that button, but once I do I might not be able to stop... be warned, all ye who pass through!

I think it's in the community's nature to read way too far into things. It's a good thing in a way - look how everyone chews over key points in every new episode. I love reading the theories and suggestions and crazy ideas, seeing what ideas get adopted by the fandom and seeing the resulting media that inevitably emerges.

But yeah, I can see where they're coming from. I was, actually, a teeny bit surprised at just how much derp Derpy pulled off in her thirty-second window on the screen. I also wasn't 100% sure about the voice - but again, it's as you said really.

Besides, the torrent of images/comics with Derpy and things inexplicably breaking/exploding/bursting into flames were absolutely hilarious.

How could she? She's just a random YouTube user? Did you expect Hasbro to jsut call her up and have her voice Derpy? That would take too long and take a lot of contracts, especially when they can just use one of the handful of other voice actresses they already have.

Depends what I'm doing

Uh, Illustrator, Art Rage Studio Pro, Photoshop, After Effects (for animations).

Twilight's Revenge was drawn in Illustrator and then compiled as a comic in Photoshop. I'd do scribbles/sketches in Art Rage for anything that wasn't easy to just doodle in Illustrator, like Celestia's wings (for some reason, I find it easier to get the right shape/etc).

Hey, the show isn't for everyone. Besides, it's the community and the epic stuff it produces that I really like about it all. The show is just the catalyst, albeit a surprisingly awesome one.

If people who aren't fans of the show can enjoy it, then I consider that a success - it's kinda what I am aiming for in immediate/future endeavours!

It was the relentless barrage of art, GIFs, comics, discussions and whatnot that kept popping up all over Reddit which got me to investigate. Two episodes later, I was hooked. Baffled, but definitely hooked. Very rich characters catch you by surprise, and the vibrantly-crafted world is filled with lots of little jokes and even occasional references to memes and popular culture.

Well, if you ever feel like watching, go for a few episodes in the middle of Season 1 - the earliest episodes were before the team really hit their stride and are best watched to gain some backstory rather than be introduced to the show as a whole. I randomly chose Ep 15 ("Feeling Pinkie Keen") first, it was the first one I saw on YouTube.
