Deviantart is to show off a pice of artwork you have spent energy and time on, something you are proud of and want to show off to the world.
Posting screenshot are a sad way to get attention and is also illegal. Remember that if the creators from the movie/series you have taken screenshots from discover yoou they have all right to sue you for theft.

Well, you're wrong. This website has rules. Everyone has to obey these rules, including you. And, these rules clearly state that you are not allowed to uplaod images which are not created by you. And, none of the images you've uplaoded are your own. Right now, you are an art thief.

I'm afraid that that's where you're wrong Unimpressed . If you had taken a few minutes of your precious time to read deviantART's rules and policies, you would've known that only two types of screenshots are allowed on this website:

1. One of them is desktop screenshots. Here, read this:

FAQ #578: What does deviantART consider to be a proper desktop screenshot?

2. The only other kind of screenshots that are allowed here are in-game screenshots. What's more, they're allowed only if they are submitted into the scrapbook and if they are unaltered.

Just because there are retards here who think of deviantART as a second Photobucket and fill their galleries with crappy screenshots and other copyright infringong conetent, doesn't mean that it's allowed. Theft is theft, regardless of how many people do it.
