oh, watch the Anime of Umineko
It's thrilling and waah, I'm addicted! xD
but just 3 more episodes to come.. just 3 weeks left =/
after that, the 4 arcs of Umineko are over, and we'll have to wait for Umineko Chiru to be completed.. arc 6 should be released this month, and if it goes on like the last years, next december the 8th will finish the story ^^
that means that we could enjoy the next Anime-season in 2011
I just don't want to wait x_x

dunno if I should watch it yet, cause I'm not very far in the novel and I don't want to spoiler myself even more, but you forgot something: the opening musik is awesome, I love the opening of the novel but I like the one of the animation even better. The whole soundtrack is really epic. xD

I finally managed to successfully 'install' the novel yesterday night x3
lets say... the meal is being served right now, Kinzo is locked in his room with Genji and cries for Beato.
All what happened in the past hours I read the VN fills nearly half an episode of the anime :'D

It's the most discussed thing about Umineko, I guess...
Which should be enjoyed first?
I think, it's not wrong to watch the anime first. You won't understand the whole story unless you start reading the VN, and the VN has more details to add after you got an overview through the anime. if you read the novel first, you won't get shocked easily by all the atmosphere in the anime, cause you already know ever single twist.
so, I take the short way and add the details afterwards

and from EP5 on there won't be an anime-version until the VN is completed, so...

ah, it won't end 30th December the 6th episode, Dawn of the Golden Witch will be released, and at least 2 more episodes will follow <3

oh, and woaaah, I'm enjoying the music so much x_x
I love Worldenddominator and Dreamenddischarger, Suspicion and hope, Dance of the Moon Rabbits is nice as well.
Umineko's music is an epic win!

Yupp I heard that from my friends,too.
Deciding what to watch first is one of the hardest decisions one must make, I decided to look through the novel first, sadly I don’t have very much time to do so. But it’s fun nontheless.

Wow okay, well I thought they would, once again create their own ending, like they often do when something did not reach it’s end yet. *rolleyes*
Have to agree the music is mind-boggling Higurashis score was just pretty good, creepy but Umineko is a masterpiece. Your absolutely right with that opinion of yours We need more games with such a great OST. Hail 07th Expansion :3

I don’t watch brotherhood anymore or at least it is on hold for now, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun seemed to be much more fun. I couldn’t decide if Brotherhood was worse than the first anime or better. They seem both about the same, some parts feel rushed in the remake, while others aren’t as fun anymore. As for FMA 01 the animation was kind of dragged out and the ending …. Well.. sucked. So I’ll stay with the manga xD

Yeah, test assured, that’s not very hard to believe, a blog is very time consuming, that’s why I don’t have one.
It’s hard enough to get trough real live and gaming in one day, so I admire you for your hard work.
That’s a big help for people who like direct loads more than torrents or are not used to devices such as µtorrent.

it's just much shorter than the VN.. more dynamic, though...
that's one of the best things an anime could possibly do: stay true to the story!
But that is only possible when the manga/VN/etc is completed already - but there's no need to if the story isn't told in a whole bunch, but in chapters or arcs like Higurashi and Umineko are ^-^

FMA was pretty lame compared with Brotherhood, which is true to the manga; FMA completely differs from ~ep30 on. It has still too much fillers from the beginning on and Brotherhood is waaaay more dynamic and speedy, but it needs to be to raise the tension - I always sit in front of my screen and want to watch the next episode, but I always have to wait a whole week -.-

I guess I will bring up some Terry Pratchett-Audiobooks later on, some complete animes at once and now I'm even trying to finally expand the anime/life-theme to tabletop/warhammer40k :'D

LOL that’s the cruel fate of an anime lover, one could watch the whole thing in a view years in german, censored and cutted, with crappy voiceover BUT 4-5 times a week or sadly we’re hooked up now, get much more Gimmicks, plus true characters … and a really good told story one time a week.

oh, I hate the first FMA-season for that crime! Matching history with FMA was a big mistake. And they even made a movie to expand that ending x_x omg

XD When I started to watch FMA1 it wasn't fully released in germany, but I didn't want to watch them subbed ._. so I had about 2 or 3 months to wait for the 11th and 12th volume x_x
But I must say that though the story is almost the same for some episodes of Brotherhood, it never got boring ._.

Terry Pratchett wrote/writes the Discworld-novels. Pretty weird and funny, but with a greater meaning than just entertainment.
The most Popular thing about the Discworld is - apart from it being a disc which lies on the backs of four elephants who stand on a giant turtle which travels through space - is the Death. He tries to understand how humans work and always speaks in CAPITALS xD
The Audiobooks are nice to listen to when chatting or painting/drawing etc ^^

Hmm that would be kind of need, the ability to wash human brains, kind of like death note, ahh that would be awesome! Kinda understand that, there are some times where you just want to smack some people. So you are pretty nice with just wanting to ‘wash their brains’.
