Greetings love! It's my day off and I've written and called you, and no answer. Was it this Wednesday that you were going off lung weed? Going to head down to meet Lincoln at the whole foods we three shared a meal. Call me if you want me to pick you up to come with, or when I get back for a visit.

If your computer is working when you get home, don't be a stranger neighbor. Or else, I'm going to have to send Bonnie and Carol over with a delicious plate of brownies. And you don't want a lawsuit on your hands because of what will happen to the goddamn brownies!

Took me a minute to figure out the Burb's reference. I'll definitely keep in touch. Take care and I'll probably see you come summer. ---Shroom

What's up buttercup? I saw that you took the time to clarify your nihilism, and I hope it wasn't as a result of my occult interest. I understand that you can study a subject without accepting the dogma behind the idea faithfully. In fact, I wouldn't have expected anything else from you, being that you exemplify Geburahic energy....perseverance without faith, strength without need of reward. But, I laugh and digress as I consider the stance of nihilism being in and of itself a dogma. That is something I've never given consideration! To you and yours in Seattle and abroad...

no, It wasn't on account of that!
Actually, I'm very interested in the occult too- its symbolism, its imagery and the rich history of legend it keeps adding to is a wealth of inspiration. It addresses the darkness and light of the human mind beautifully. It invokes great emotion. I love the stuff.
and you're right- if taken to the wall, nihilism itself becomes a belief system...heh..." I believe in nihilism, and i'm the president of the anarchists society!"
anything can become a cartoon of itself if taken too seriously.

In my last email, I meant to say I haven't been a draw-er all my life. I have only recently come into the use of drawing tools, and have spent most of my schooling in math and science, and my extracurricular classes were music, not art. In our school systems we had to make a choice between the two, and I didn't have time for all of the above. I originally planned on being a forensic pathologist, and was in college for 3 years pre-med before changing my mental goals. Anyway, I don't have a sketchbook only because I don't draw. But, maybe I will be inspired to start doing so. I have only recently begun to connect my visionary work with actual technical rendering skills, and that lack of connection shows in my elementary figures. I get better, but not as fast as I would like, and I think sketching may be the answer to that need. It's hard starting from scratch!! I'm done complaining. How was your weekend?
