your art is cute! id suggest possibly getting a different program, from looking at your WIPs whatever you are using is a little limited in terms of brushes. also do you use a pen with your tablet? I'd suggest an app called Medibang, its availible on all platforms and on both mobile devices and PC. I'd also suggest working from pose references, as it will help you better grasp anatomy as thats something i see you struggle with.
