I'm going geocaching today!!! I borrowed my dads GPS and there is a cache 1.6 miles from my house called 'Add Winegar To Taste'. Unfortnatelt with three feet of snow, it might be a bit difficult.

YAY!! I went today, but wasn't able to get any (it was a puzzle cache and getting to the location required a car), but good luck finding it in the snow!

I went again today and actually made it, unfortunately though I couldn't find it. It was a 2 1/2 star difficulty with three stars on terrain, made a lot more difficult by the snow. It was a five or six hour hike.
I didn't take too many pictures but I did still get some good ones. You could see in every direction because I was on one of the highest points for miles!
I will try this one again when there is less snow.

4-5 hours??! Dang, it's a shame you didn't get it then. At least there was a decent view...
Yeah, when there's snow usually it's a good idea to head for towns. But there are some specific caches made for snow finds. I know there are a couple in the nordic area in Eldora you can ski/snowshoe to.
