Hey there, i saw your post in this artwork: [link]
And what you ask to that artist is exact the same what i though when i was a starter in digital painting. Until in my brains went on a switch and now i try to paint 5 hours a day and i did do that 5 months allready, only now i can see much improvement. Nobody can paint right away very good. Professionals say the work they made was easy and general etc. Instead they have trained years before they became good. I don't have my work uploaded yet, so you can't see the improvement yet XD

I suppose, though painting five hours a day is pretty impossible for me at the moment, in fact painting for an hour a day is a push, so painting and practicing isn't as easy for me as it might be for some.
Thanks though, I'll bare that in mind.

keep in mind when you start at the beginning, you don't even know where to start. I even could not draw for 15 minutes because it was crap immediately and making no sense. That happened to me before. I suggest you take a look on this site: [link] or :[link] and set your time in seconds for each picture. Try to draw the lines of those poses only and >>no detail<<. I did this 1 week long and i tried to do it a hour, after that i realised i could draw anatomy much more correct and it was much more fun to draw too .
Weeks few weeks later i began to scketch much looser then i did at the start, i was able to put some rough ideas on the canvas. Also i didn't care about the brush presets anymore and just start what i had in mind. Only now i need to be much more loose so i can do some risk strokes and 'happy' mistakes too, and without using the eraser anymore.

You're welcome!
I've followed your art on various LBP fansites, never really thought to check here until now, thanks to Puttatitut :3
I don't play anymore, I used to by the name of Racingcreed.. Just sorta got bored of it, more into Minecraft at the moment. Perhaps we could play sometime, if you have it that is.
Also, love your artwork, it's so cute!

Ohhhh I see Yeah, my PSN name is codibear8383.
I actually hadn't played LBP for like the past 6 months, but
I'm kind of slowly getting back into it. Had to take a break for a bit,
because like you, I got bored of it as well haha.
I think I may actually recognize your PSN. It sounds somewhat familiar.
And thank you! I'm glad you like my artwork!

Yeah, I took a break also, but it turned out to be that the game just wasn't fun anymore. I kinda miss how the game was when it was first released, everyone was excited, creativity was at it's best and everyone was friendly.. seems kinda the opposite now so I just left
I made a few levels on LBP, nothing special, most of the time just deleted them because I didn't like them.
And you're very welcome, will be looking forward to seeing your future artwork
