It's the audience that watches it that decides who it's for...
I believe, the fact that teens were enjoying Invader Zim more then six year olds were, was one of the reasons it got canceled.

I've also heard, (from my 'amazing research' that I did a year or so ago; when I was super obsessed with IZ) that if it were to be brought back, most all the original workers on it, including Jhonen won't come back. v.v

My family doesn't have cable, so I'm a little out of date... I get my info from the interwebs; my IZ and other cartoons and animes and such from buying and renting DVDs. XDD

Aah... anyway, the best way to get more Invader Zim, or more anything canceled or over; as far as I know, is fanfiction. Just need to find a good writer-person or hundred... ^^
