Wait, you thought DA was a porn site?

    Well tbh, you're not far off, as some users do post Nsfw content (and some

 actually break the rules and do post porn content here.) It's kinda sad, but I guess it comes with the norm of the internet (unless corporate who own the sites online want to do something about it.)

I actually dislike nudity and hentai, so I generally block the users who post that kind of content (especially if they're heavy into it.)

I used to use DA Ignore Script to hide their content too - cuz back then the block limit was 200 and then it increased to 500 (which I thought was rubbish, cuz they had a system where anybody had the ability to make as many accounts on DA as they wanted - so long as it was for artistic purposes.)


But now DA has finally upgraded their blocking feature and even put the ability to put tags on mute (if you don't want to see them)

So I've been relatively happy as I can finally browse the site without seeing that shit in my face all the time.


You can adopt the same thing too if you wish.

*grins* That's brilliant! I totally understand why you would think that; DeviantART is, to the outsider, a dumpster fire. It's only once you become part of it, that you realise that it's not all about ridiculous fetishes and horrible artwork. The founders of the site probably had such lofty goals when they launched it... maybe Eclipse is their way of distancing themselves from the horrendous nonsense that has become a trademark of the site, and starting again. That's what I'd do; just shrug off all the mouth-breathers, and strive to make the site about art - not another place for millennials to store their social media bullshit.
