you're far too modest! I like your work and I can learn from it. This year I got hooked on clay modeling. What is the advantage of turning your statues into bronze? And I dont mean because they will last longer. Here in EU is very expensive; it becomes cheaper (per piece) if you ask for several copies. I prefer to have a unique piece and dont dislike the terracotta look. Why do you make yours in bronze, if u dont mind me asking.

I pick and choose which of my pieces get made into bronze. It is a very expensive process and for that reason I could not afford to make every sculpture into a solid bronze statue. Most I make and the mold and pour in resin. The silicone is also expensive, but not so much as bronze.

figurative: heads, whole bodies. i get comfortable with clay and I do like it. I have a tendency to go into fine detail, because that's what I was doing when drawing. I will try wax in the future, but also want to simplify my work. I just dont know if there's a market for terracotta, it looks like artists mainly sell bronze. I dont even like the material, to tell you frankly, it feels so "rejecting", dort of "dont touch me, im a museum piece".

I like the classical "feel" of bronze, but you are correct, it does have a tendency to put people off with the aura of "high end" art. Terracotta is a beautiful medium, but also comes with the bias linking to ancient pottery. Thus people view terracotta as fragile and somewhat primitive. But the color is so rich. I would say most terracotta I see is in the southwestern art market.
Should you want to try wax, I have heard good things about castilene.
