Significantly better than season 7, that's for sure! I thought it got off to a rather slow start (the premiere, uggh), but then it improved quite a bit (probably better than season 6, too). And that was one heck of a finale!
I don't really like Felicia Day, though.

Well, it's hard to answer that because I think we deviate from the sourcebook quite a bit with our "house rules", plus I've never played any other tabletop RPGs for comparison, but once you get used to the rules it seems to work pretty well...
