Raspberry-in-Yogurt [2008-09-04 07:35:22 +0000 UTC]

One of my favorite nuggets of wisdom from Andrew was his advice about treating shapes like dropping a raspberry in yogurt. The figure and the ground have equal importance, so they both have equal weight within a composition. Just like when you drop a raspberry in yogurt. It doesn't sink because the yogurt has its own weight working against the berry... It was one of the funnier lessons he ever gave.

Hey, that'll be cool. :) (Smile) I haven't decided who I'll be yet-it might depend on how long/what style my hair is in when Halloween comes around... :p (Lick) But I have been an anime character for 3 Halloween's now, so we'll see if I keep up that tradition or not.
Btw, have you seen my tattoo of Legato from Trigun on my leg? That's why I dressed up for him on Halloween-to honor this year's tattoo.
