For anime characters yeah. 

Quick note though, I don't make a new drawing of that character, rather I get a reference picture (usually one that's really crappy but has lots of potential) then redraw it in my own style xD

Quick suggestion for you and your artworks though, it would really be nice if you had a scanner.
Then GIMP is a free art editing program, you could search online how to make a scanned drawing cleaner so that we can see more clearly your awesome artworks xD
