and in what application do you do those textures or skins?

Photoshop, for editing.Β However, since Source Engine uses its own .vtf format for textures, they need to be converted again.Β I save the texture to a .tga from Photoshop, and then import into VTFEdit, and save as whatever texture I want it to be.Β Really, you can use any editing software you want, so long as you can save as an image file that preserves all four main color channels (red, green, blue, alpha).Β From there, it's just VTFE and done.

Where do you create your 3d models? could you please tell me

I didn't create them.Β Pretty much all of them are old models originally ported for Garry's Mod.Β Most Gmod models will work in SFM (where I do my rendering) with no editing.Β Some are probably still up on garrysmod.org.Β Search for Mass Effect there and the models should be there.Β
The only thing I've done so far is open the textures up in photoshop and edit them, though I'm working on some edits in Blender.
