It was very good! I knew I would like it going in, but I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It's definitely the best X-Men film yet! I loved the humor, it was such an intense movie but it had it's laugh out loud moments as well. xP I thought the language was very unnecessary, but other then that it was great! I definitely wouldn't mind seeing it one more time!

Yeah, critics seem to say the same thing about how good it is. I know what you mean about unnecessary language...plenty of action movies have that problem. Just a few days ago I saw Red 2 in the theater and it was very good; it had lots of action, a decent plot, very interesting characters (just like the first movie), and was full of funny scenes...but of course it also had some moderate language sprinkled throughout the movie, and although it was nothing terrible, it was still kind of a turn off.
Anyhow, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your birthday.

Ah, they slipped one of those in. There was an interview with the director of Man of Steel and in it he talked about wanting to use the one F-word that he was allowed to have in a clever way, and after I read about it I was expecting to hear it at some point in the film. It never happened though, so I guess he changed his mind, haha.
