Omg! I LOVING MY NEW JOB!!It's been 7 months since I've received my business degree in accounting and I finally have a full time job utilizing my major!
Background:
I'm working for the university where I received my degree as a part of their bookstore accounting department. I will say calling it a bookstore though is kind of an understatement because it sells everything from textbooks and college supplies to laptops and Ipads, to Mascot apparel and greeting cards. We also have 3 other branches around the state that just sell university apparel and merchandise.
My Role:
My official title is Fiscal Support Specialist.
I am in charge of the cash management side of the accounting while my supervisor, who is super nice and is into classic rock, maintains the accounts receivables.
I've only been here for 8 days, but even from my first day I could already tell this would be the perfect job for me.
My duties so far include analyzing daily register sales from our store and the other 3 s
