I was 13 when I first found and played Etherena. It inspired me quite a universe, and even if life doesn't always allow me to pursue my passion for art and writing, I still hold dear my memories, writing and drawings (which I never published) of Moraku, Shiiri and all other characters I made up. This to say I love your art! Cheers, a long time fan of yours

Thanks! It's been a long time since but every so often I am reminded that this little passion project of mine had somehow become a powerful childhood memory to people all around the world. I find myself humbled each time I learn of someone who remembers of it fondly in the past.
I concede that I have not had much to entertain my fans with over the past decade. With that, thank you for dropping by and sharing your memories with me. It is very much appreciated!

I'm so happy i found your deviantart account, so i can write you. I just wanted to tell you a litte story.
Back in 2008/2009 (i dont know it anymore, but i remember it was my last year before highschool) i played your game earena like every day with my friends. We only played the versus mode, but it was fun anyways. Well, as time went on i couldn't forget your game and decided to make games my own, in the hope to someday make games like you.
Today, almost 6 years later i have my own website (qcoded.de) where i upload my own games. I totally forgot about earena, but then i saw your it again (i saved the .swf) and I remembered how i played it all the time.
Sadly you seem to not have develped the game since then and i would like to ask you, if you would allow me to rewrite earena in HTML5? I would also like to make it opensource then, so that everyone can help develop. If you are ok with this, i would be really happy.
PS: It would also help if you could upload the sprites and soundeffects if you are ok with it too (or maby make new ones).

How many years has it been.
I've been waiting
waiting like so many others
those who were upset
those who were filled with anticipation
the trolls, the fans, everyone
is now simply waiting
maybe there are more people, like me, who see etherena beta, and compare it to games today
it still holds its ground
it could be a force to be reckoned with in the gaming world, if only it were to be given new life
you could make a pretty penny making it online multiplayer, and having a leaderboard like many games now have
or even put it for sale on android and idevices
it wouldn't be easy, but it would be well worth the profit
