By the way, I was wondering how you made those ink drawings. I love the style you used, but do you trace or in some other way copy the contours or do you do it by eye?

Well in that case sorry for doubting you! I mean the likenesses are so perfect, to me the style of shading and the perfection of the angles and distances don't match. Don't get me wrong, but your shading looks kinda sloppy-like. It seems that you would have to be working on the sketch with pencil for about 10 times longer than actually coloring it in. I think you've got a really interesting style and I envy your eyes! I think I'll give it a try too if you don't mind. I'm watching you!
Oh one more question. Do you first convert the pictures to 3 shades on the computer or is that by eye too?

No problem and thanks for the compliment. And, yeah the sketch takes the longest. Especially since that's when you're trying to make it look good. After that, you just get to color. I just do it all by eye. To me it's a lot like drawing a traditional portrait, just not completely, if that makes sense. It's like just using shadows and the most important parts. Again, I don't know if that makes sense.

I makes some sense. I takes a different way of looking at your subject than regular portrai drawing I think. Alas, I havent tried it yet, been watching too much Heroes!!!
