If you go to my user page, you see the button marked Give? It's below the llama icon. You click it, and then you click on the Give Llama Badge option which pops up on the menu. A window pops up, and you put your password into the space provided to authorize that you're giving the person a llama. Then you click okay or whatever, and off it goes. :3 Its pretty simple!

my pleasure.
just scouting for some gargoyle pics and yours was really good. I had a look through some of your insect photos as well, very nice too.

yeah, thanks to you too.
your work is incredible, I found it searching for some inspiration for a current uni project on medical scientific progress, and it does kind of reflect some of the areas I've been looking at.
hopefully I'll have some finished work on the subject up to show off soon.
thanks for the warm welcome.

hmmm, ok so you found my work while searching for
keywords I assume?
You typed in medical and science terms, right?
Do you think you have understood my concept had
you not seen it while searching for your topic?
Or at least would you have made the connection
to medicine and science..
....I often wonder about these things.
Im glad I could help provide you with inspiration though.

no I read your explanation of the piece, but its true I doubt I would have come across it had I not been searching along those lines.
your concept is valid for my research though, one of the areas I'm considering is the idea that religion has always put forth a striving for immortality, but usually only attainable via death in some sort of afterlife. medical science is trying to at least prolong life through its practices - but the ultimate holy grail would be the achievement of immortality. scientists in the past have tried and fully believed that it was in mans hands to offer a resurrection, but we now leave the idea behind a little and dismiss the possibility because of the past failures.
so until we can prove otherwise, as you state a mans birthday is inevitably linked with his death.
