Your taking one of those Art & Design Foundation courses, eh? Maybe you could explain something to me because I'm terribly confused. You see, I recently applied to the Arts Institute at Bournemouth and from what I'd read and what they initially told me, you need to take a one year Foundation Course before starting on a BA(hons) program. From what I'd researched this seemed pretty standard for the UK. But I applied straight to the BA(hons) program anyway because Norwegian financial aid wont pay anything for the Foundation Courses as they're considered "further education" rather than "higher education". Thing is, I got accepted, on the spot. So now I'm really confused about whether or not this Foundation Course stuff is for real or just a way to scam money out of international students? Hah. I dunno, it's always strange to jump into the education system of a country you're not used to, it was the same when I came to Norway about two years ago. Anyway, so yeah, I got accepted and will be moving to Bournemouth this summer some time. We should hook up.
