Winter gave way to spring, spring gave way to summer, summer gave way fall. Then just as time always does fall ebbed away and winter approached once more. Before it did though there was the greatest celebration of the fall, Halloween.
Casey was determined that her first Halloween as a shape shifter was going to be absolutely amazing. She had been able to change her form for almost a full year since she had been struck by lightning in the very first few days of November the year before.
Justin more times than not gave her grief that she was more than just a shape shifter. She had the ability to read minds. As it turned out as she had used the power of the past year it had grown stronger. She had been able to influence minds with small simple things; she had even been able to telepathically link her mind to other people, so that she and that person could communicate without having to speak. Well Justin was the only person she had tried that on because she still kept her powers a secret.
