Well I been doing mostly backend PHP for flash like forms and databases for my internship, not too much heavy actionscripting. Kind of boring. Atleast I get to design in a professional design firm now!

I'm doing alright. I'm on summer break as well... but going back for Summer qtr. AI so far is good for me. I'm still doing some of the core courses and a couple of 2nd year courses, even though summer qtr will be my third qtr at the school. I was able to transfer a bunch of stuff from other courses I've taken elsewhere. Managed to pull 4 A's and 1 A- last quarter. Woohoo! I'm sure it'll be harder once I get into the classes that I've never had before. But yeah.. enjoy your break!! Take care! It's nice at 80 degrees here in Seattle. How much over there?

Ok I just gotta tell you that I think your work is awesome, I love your renders. This kind of thing is something I would love to get into more. I've done the typical abstract renders, but just about nothing of any true shape of form. What program do you use for these renders? Also, I don't think enough people appreciate this type or work and the time and skill it takes to do. Its always the same old thing that works its way to the top here, but I think that work like yours is way way better than some of the pieces that get the glory here.

i learnt to skin winamp2 a while back by picking apart other skins and seeing how they work. But here are some links that look like a good starting point if you're new:

Nullsoft themselves have a nice and thorough winamp2 skinning guide that explains everything in great detail.

Or you might wanna try ~sacrat 's WA2 skinning tute. It's a PDF download and has alot of nice tips in it.

Also, i use ~fyreman 's spec files as bases for my skins which i build on top of. You can grab them at his website.

thank you for thankin me for the comment lol i'm actually workin on another 3d work, i'm applyin glass effects for the 1st time hehe i just realised i should have made it 1600x1200 rather then 1024x768...o well maybe i'll fix it tomorrow
