I'm sorry if I came off harsh, but what I saw just ticked me off. Your other art seems very nice, I'm liking it at least. I never said your art has to resemble mine, in fact if you would do my art I'd call you a poor artist with no talent (ha ha). Just know that I don't carry a black book with names, the reason for my comment harshness was pretty much a "type" I give NEW artists that think they can just jump around submitting stuff of no real value, which definately is not the case with you. Peace out, keep devious (and deviate from text-book examples of grunge when possible!)

as a child lifts it oot for it's first steps, those about open their eye in wonder, restrianing to their chairs, forcing themselve not to jolt forward to aid hte childd form falling.. letting htem learn their steps on their own... the piece is worth clutching to the chair myfriend no thanks needed... also in the end the same people who hold back will try runnign after you when you run away with those steps -s- good luck my firend I'll be keeping a watch on you

yea, shades children was the second book i read, first was Sabriel. Then of course, Lireal, and then Sabriel. At any rate, i have yet to check out any of his other writings, maybe with summer coming up, ill have more of a chance. Thanks again for the smalltalk, ist always nice.

yea, the new book rocks hard. Definately well worth the read. I read it, and then passed it on to my g/f who got the book for me. Tis most definately a great book....riddle me this. Have you read any of his other books? To be honest, im not much of a reader, but i have read the other two books prior to abhorsen, and i have also read the one sci-fi-ish type book he wrote called Shades Children. Also a worthy book if you like his style (which obviously you do) And yea, it is really kinda nice to have someone else to talk to about the book seeing as how no one i really know has any idea of its existence. Though, youa re about the 4th or 5th person on devart to ask me if i knew of him, because the recognized my SN. At any rate, thanks again And happy reading.

The final piece was 4 foot wide and made using digi and roll film. Then a long time in photoshop, the actual film strips were mad from a clear material and cam away from the image. Over all it took 30hrs of work from start concept to finished piece and had over 50 images in it, phew!
