'the first thing I remember is the shredder handing me a black mask with rips in it. he told me he had rescued me from those who had wronged me. the clan called hamato. suddenly the memories came flooding back, why were they so cruel to me?... Why did they torture me so? was it because I was smaller? Was it because I was weaker? I have trained with the shredder for 3 months now much faster and more agile than I've ever been. my revenge is the only thing that fuels me to keep going. I don't know why it hurts this much all I know is that I will have vengeance on those who hurt me and my master.'
Michelangelo put down the notebook he had been writing in. this book he had found in the dumpster the first few weeks of the shredder "rescuing" him from the evil mutants., was the only thing that gave him comfort... Except of course the wind. he didn't know why but the wind always made me feel free. like he could do anything. the wind brushed across his face making his tattered mask tails flutter in the breeze. during these times he sometimes questions if the shredder was being truthful to him. Or that the Hamato clan was really that cruel but then the altered memories he had stored in his mind came rushing to him. and it snapped him back to reality at least that's what he thought. little did the turtle know that the memories he was experiencing were only figments of the imagination. Shredders doing. Of course he didn't know that if he did he wouldn't be this angry he wouldn't be this sad... He wouldn't feel alone and scared and want revenge on his own family.
