The info of the pics are known as the EXIF. The camera records the data into each picture and dA extracts them and displays them in your description. Make sure you're not using "save for web" or something...use "save as", and the info should remain. Also, I notice you're using a D70...so if you're recording in RAW format and processing them in Adobe Photoshop CS, make sure you have the Camera Raw update installed (if not, Photoshop loses the EXIF data when you export from RAW): [link] (for Windows), [link] (for Mac)

Yeah, I seem to lose the EXIF when I save my resized files in Paint Shop Pro. I am shooting in JPEG, and mainly just resizing pics. I think it might be because I'm using the button that allows you to control the JPEG compression, and it doesn't keep the EXIF. I should probably try and find another way of saving the photos that still allow me to control the amount of compression. Or perhaps I should load up Photoshop Elements, as I recently got a copy!

P.S...As for that question about putting camera info with your pic...I think it does it automatically because the data is somehow stored with your pic. Because I have the camera data come out with some of my pics (I think as long as you don't resize them or alter them) and I didn't even intend to add the details! Hope that helps - I'm not very good at explaining things!

Thanks for that! When I resize a photo, the copy I make doesn't have all that information, so I'll have to try and find a way to keep that info attached when I make a smaller copy for the web. Either that or I could just put the image details in the description, that wouldn't be too much of a problem.
