thanks for the good words. i like the alt universe posters. time travel and alt timelines as subject matter is very cool to me too. what do you do to make those? do you study posters from real life in the thirties etc to get ideas? or do you have a time machine! i hope its the latter.....

Saw your fav game was Mass Effect. I just got to finish the series with 3 last month. I know alot of indies are against big game developments but this game was the ultimate for a sci fi junkie. Personally, I was sucked into story and art but I thought it had the whole package. Just wish it was a tad longer, I always quench for more a longer imagination duration

yeah i feel the same. was hoping for more diverse environments in 3. what was there was great. sometimes they reused alot. kept seeing the same rock texture over and over again. i get why. just saying. i hope EA doesn't kill it by making it on the cheap in the next installment. have you looked at destiny from bungie?

I completely agree with the environment art, that's what I missed most from ME1. I know all of the worlds felt repetitive in game play but the mix in art rocked I thought when exploring the different planets. They defiantly got away from alot of great things since EA took over. I hate the mindset of "feed them more of the same because they'll eat it anyway".
I was disappointed in how short the Earth sequence was. The whole game led to it and ended at the snap of a finger. I also thought they're going to return more of the RPG feel ME1 had.
But I did just check out destiny and WOW! Defiantly a Halo killer. The premise of that universe is built to go in so many different directions! Build off that diversity you created with constantly trying to push your ideas.

thanks for the very kind words! i'm sure you could. it just takes alot of practice and studying the fundamentals of art. getting some great books or reading online will help. it also helps to draw things you like and follow your hearts interests. if you do that you'll get there.

take it one day at a time and focus on your own development. its cool to look at other finished work for inspiration but stay focused on your own path
