the guy who directed Invader Zim wanted to put gir covered in blood in one of the episodes, but Nick wouldn't let them because the intended audience (15-20) wasn't watching; younger kids were. so he had the animators sneak the image into a few episodes by putting it into a single frame.

I think GIR's main vocal processing unit was damaged in the time-stasis explosion, cause he talks really slowly in most of the episode.
But if the big splodey goes fast, won't it get all bad? *sob sob*
And after the explosion hit Zim's house, and after the tallest had given up on Zim's probing day pummeling, Dib came to Zims base with two words:
Dib: You jerk. (falls on knees then flat on his face)
