You're absolutely right I have only had it for a day. less than that actually. more like 30 minutes. But while the intended purpose of this website may be different than Lamespace, fact remains it is comprised of the same elements. People posting pictures of themselves or experiences and others commenting on them in a blog type community. It's a carbon copy of lamespace, difference is the community of people. You have the actual creative people(photographers, writers, graphic artists) that do a good job and is what perked my interest to this site. 80% of what I've seen though( be it a brief look, yes) is ignorant, emotional kids taking pictures of themselves because they think they have it o' so bad.
Basically what I mean is aside from the few creative people I've seen on here this is the same pop culture bull shit you would see on myspace just a different community of the same crap. Only reason I've taken the two minutes to write this is the hope that someone will read this and at least think about how much time they waste browsing through the mass amounts of depressing garbage on here. Sitting in front of a computer looking at depressed teens is not the most self-promoting way to spend your time. Time for time well spent. To all the wonderful creative work I've seen. Thanks! To all the self-dooming emo kids living in a shell of pop culture...well refer to my personal quote. I may come back here to toss some more insults around while waiting on downloads.

well, you aren't looking through 95% of what i see, because most of the stuff on here is absolutely gorgeous. you ever hear of gilad? hakanphotography? larafairie? so many others. check the news pages, loads of good things there.

and by tossing around insults, you're making this more like myspace than it already is, according to you. constructive criticism? sure, go ahead. being a dick? not so much. this is supposed to be an art community. you can complain all you want about it, but it's not going to change if you just leave rude comments on everything you see that you don't like.
