yeah, i've been staying there until last tuesday. the fair was too tempting and then i was forced to stay because i had to meet my bricklayers, i'm soon going to start the restoration of the abandoned house i showed you next to my apartment building... or it will soon fall on somebody's head

now in gravina there's san michele delle grotte! i'm so envious you're there!!! it's a nice religious celebration of the old part of the town. there's a wonderful cave-church, i don't know if you visited it. during the holiday it cannot be opened or the weight of all the 43.000 inhabitants of gravina would slowly make it slide into the ravine, but if you call the museum they make you visit it in small groups (it's not dangerous). i think it is my favourite place in the whole world: [link] (those corpses of the second photo have been moved into the church on the left of your featured deviation, don't worry).
we can go there together, if you want to. i'll be back there for a few days in june. i would love to take pictures of it!

did you visit the fair? did you see the medieval parade? i hope so! that's the kind of unique things you can't experience in the u.s.

i usually eat home, but if i have some guests i go to la madonna della stella which is beautiful and has good food, or i go to that restaurant in piazza pellicciari, near sant'agostino, i don't remember its name right now, i'm weary. maybe cucco? maybe

they make the best pizza at fedele (antichi portici), in via milano at the corner with via de gasperi.

if i want to drink some beer i go to the gallery, but i think you're not old enough for that (stupid american laws).

there are a million new restaurants/bars/pubs in gravina, but i don't know anything about them

yeah, gravina is great! i hope that you enjoyed the last carnival night and that they didn't hit you with one of those eggs (i hate it when they do!). did you see the burning of giuann? i'm so envious, i wish i could be there!

my mother is from altamura but i feel 100% gravinese, let's say that i don't like altamura that much i think that, if she's not retired, the headmistress of the liceo scientifico in altamura is my mother's cousin

about a shop to buy a camera case... i don't know, try asking a photographer, like for example pino soldano in piazza san domenico.

i will come back in april, for the elections and the easter holidays, so i would love to meet you
