Hahaaa. How to explain eastern european animation in five sentences.

Well, I remember as a child watching these short aminations on tv, they were so sparse and ecclectic. I just think they left an indelible imprint on my mind. When I saw 'Family' it just jumped into my mind eventually. And there it stuck. An endearing bleakness.

I guess it is always nice to have a connection to something. Y'know. Those things you haven't thought about for years and years suddenly thrown frontstage in your head.

You were spot on with what I was trying to achieve with the sculpture thing! I was also waiting for a fluffy white cloud to race along, so I could shoot it in perspective with the missing half of the head. Another day, I guess.

I think I have a 'thing' for negative & empty spaces' in pictures.

ive been great hun i hope alls going well with you

photography is on hold right now due to saving up to buy property and build a house gotta pinch them pennies yanno

however i met an elderly lady who also does photography as a hobby and agreed to do some shoots with her after i dont have to save up anymore so will see how that turns up

The drawings won't be finished, our teacher wanted us to be able to draw a part a part of the body that isn't usually looked at in a drawing and emphasize it. A lesson in how to draw the viewers attention to where you want them to look.

True confession time :
To tell you the truth,I only have the vaguest of ideas when I begin a painting . Events in my life can change them ... even a song I hear can affect them . They NEVER turn out as I expect . I would be bored to tears if I had everything planned out before I started . For me,it's the best way to work . It keeps things spontanious and alive . I get the same sense from your work ... guess that's why I love it so much !
