I have had hampsters in my time.....Cleo went Suicidal and ran away. When we found her, and she'd eventually died of starvation. Julie was mentally retarded and the cats got her. Then I got 2 Gerbils. The gray one, Nutso disappeared one day. All we found was his leg. We think the other one, Peepers, might have eaten him. Peepers lived a while before dying. Then we got Bunny, a white angora dwarf hamptser. Who mysteriously vanished. We found bits of fur a week or two later. Then came Bunny 2, also a white angora dwarf hamptser. He lived a short while before dying of cancer. Or Fear. One of the above.
It was then I decided I was just no good with rodents.

Poor bebis D: they can be a a pain to tame (mine bit and excreted quite a bit - still excretes, mostly on my mom though, that's my baby *SHOT*), and you need to be extra careful >> Also, depends where you're getting them from, pet store rodents aren't really cared for that well and such. (Rats make good pets, though)
