fresh water is where its at. from the midwest myself so quite curious/ been to gary, in? best place to go for the junk down pictures, but too scared to go myself (always hear stories about the "gary ghetto")

i've been going to gary for years. i've never had a problem there and i've never heard of anyone having a problem there. most of the stuff is downtown where there isn't anyone to bother you. i wouldn't say it is safe, but it is just about the most laid back and relaxed place you can go for this kind of stuff. at lot of the stuff on here is from gary. though the pics on my flickr account are more geographically organized. Hey, i really like your pictures! I have been around a few abandon buildings in Detroit. and your camera can make them look as they should have over 50 years ago. it is amazing. Next time i go to some i will bring a my camera.
