I have no intention of taking credit for Arthur's artwork. I saw he took them down, I found them on a website, and I put them up. I am no art theif, I am simply returning it so the world can see it. Otherwise, just look it up on YouTube or Google and you can find it somewhere else. Arthur your work is great, and I had no intention of causing such problem. I'm sorry.

I want to thank you for uploading this. I followed it when it was originally uploaded and was saddened when it was pulled down. I found them later on a hentai site but really, itd be kind of awkward to show friends a hentai site saying "Check this comic out". Now its back on DeviantArt and nowhere near as awkward.
Dont know if Arthur is anywhere near here but Ill just say "Arthur come back! Youre missed! Man you could make a website with this, I know people would pay! Team up with blame-thrower or any of the other people who are writing stories for it now, you guys would make a ton!" Im sure its already been said but cant hurt to say it again.

I'm just trying to get everyone to calm down and stop going on a hunt for this guys head because it's going to amount to nothing. OP knows, OP reported, all we can do is wait. As I've already said it's wrong that this guy has stolen the art and the damage to the OP would be minimal to nothing. Like clockwork in an internet argument, you've gone defensive after being smacked down, whining about how you're being treated so cruelly when all you wanted was for people to "calm down." Because apparently you believe that people rightly calling out a thief as a thief is going overboard. It crosses some kind of line, and apparently it was your job/place to tell others to let up on teagankick.
Let's recap:
1) You have responded to SEVEN different people who called teagankick out as a thief ([link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] ). Seven. Only a couple of these people are responding to your own posts, most of the others are talking to teagankick or other people. And yet you felt compelled to come in and defend him.
2) "Oh, but I'm not defending him" you cry. Bullshit. When it's pointed out that this thief is trying to sell prints of artwork he didn't create (ie., trying to profit off the work of others) you don't say it's wrong, you said (twice [link] [link] ) "Well, he's not going to make much money." As if THAT makes it OK. "Why are you whining about that guy stabbing you? It's not like he KILLED you."
Oh, and let's not forget your "He didn't actually SAY it's his own work." You've said that three times ([link] [link] [link] ), and I don't know why I'm bothering to repeat this but A LIE BY OMISSION IS STILL A LIE! If someone posts a piece of art/literature on their dA page, the implication is that they created it. Unless a person includes a comment that the linework or art entirely was made by someone else, then they are trying to pass it off as their own work. Teagankick is trying to pass off Craving Control as his own work. He is lying, and by trying to sell prints he is attempting to steal money that should rightfully go to the original creator.
BTW: "As I've already said it's wrong that this guy has stolen the art." Where? Where did you actually say teagankick STOLE this artwork? You kept using the weasely "He's not trying to pass it off as his own" in an attempt to REFUTE the people who have called him a thief. The only reason you're now actually saying teagankick is a thief is because you've realized no one is buying your original bullshit line (though you're now falling back on "It's not up to us to do anything about it. Only the original creator has the right to complain.").
And you make excuses for his behavior. "He's not going to make THAT much money. He never outright SAYS it's his art. Some of us didn't get a chance to download the work originally." You make excuses for his behavior. That is a defense.
I have no idea why you can't seem to get any of this. I have no idea why you're defending teagankick to begin with, let alone doubling- and tripling-down on it. My prevailing theory is that you *are* teagankick, trying to pull a Mr. Snrub ([link] ) and surreptitiously undermine the response from people rightly offended by such blatant theft. It's certainly one of the better rationales I have for the sweeping character attack you've attempted, the "All of you calling teagankick a thief are completely overreacting and are being so rude" cry.
Or I might say you're White Knighting, except I don't think you're hoping teagankick will be smitten with your attempts to defend his honor. What's the asexual version of White Knighting? Because you've got that down pat. You see yourself as riding in to the fray, the gallant knight defending teagankick from all these "outraged" people calling him a thief and getting so worked up. You're the voice of reason, you're the calm one trying to stop this witchhunt. You're so level-headed, realizing that only the original creator can report teagankick to the administrators, so why bother reacting to this at all?
You see yourself as standing up to a bunch of bullies, trying feebly to convince yourself and others that teagankick doesn't deserve any scorn, any harsh words, ignoring until now the plain fact that teagankick is a thief, and that he deserves to be called out as a thief. And you ignore the fact that he himself won't try to defend himself. Hell, he might be watching this and laughing at you for rising to his defense when he knows damn well he stole this work and is completely in the wrong.
And you deserve to be laughed at, Slyphertwin. You are a joke. A would-be knight armed with a flaccid sword, defending a clear-as-day thief under the banner of "level-headedness" but even now retreating, ceding ground to the fact that teagankick is a thief.

One final comment from me, If I really was Teagankick, Don't you think I'd try and publicize the stuff a bit? I'm an admin of a group and member of a good few others, surely I could put them up there to get some views? I already said I didn't have the pages before hand. How would I even benefit from this if I'm not linking back to my main account? If I was Teaganick I could just get rid of people who are calling me a thief and block people.

You wouldn't publicize it for the same reason teagankick (assuming you aren't him) didn't: why draw attention to the work he stole? Craving Control was known enough in this community that it only took a couple weeks before someone discovered teagankick had posted the stolen work. The "best" thing to do would be to put it up, get some views, maybe sell a print or two, and then hightail it when you're discovered as a thief.
Which is what I expect teagankick has done, and what makes it even more hilarious that you're defending him when he's metaphorically gone.

While he doesn't give Arthur credit anywhere, he doesn't claim for it to be his either. It's not like he's raking in hundreds of euro a night. I doubt that he'd even make more than 10 euro a year. And with everyone making it known that the art has been stolen I doubt he'd even make it past 5 euro.

Then again if I remember rightly the original artist took the images down and asked for them not to be online anywhere, this kind of goes against that, I may be wrong but I'm sure that's what was said.
Also if someone "did" buy a print of these, this person would be making money from someone elses work, and how are we to know if they pocket all the money or actually pay royalties to a person who is currently hardly online (which begs to question how would they contact them to pay said royalties)
All in all uploading work against an artists consent is wrong, and i agree with the work being taken down.

Yes but say for some people like me, who didn't get a chance to download these pages before they were taken down, it's a golden opportunity for us. Also as I said, You get barely any money off of prints. If he wanted to make even 5 euro, he'd need to sell about 15 prints. Are there really going to be that many people buying from him at once.

The amount of money is not the point, making money no matter the amount from someone elses work without paying royalties is illegal in pretty much any way you want to look at it, plus morally wrong in my opinion
