my older bro played sly since he was 6 and id watch him (i was about 3 at the time when sly 1 came out), so i basically dont even remember a time without sly~

If you want good resources I find pixel joint is a good community of pixel artists. theres a lot of tutorials.
The main one I found useful was an interview from one of my fav pixel artists.
