Well im working and i have a little to go until o get home.
and i dont get the hang of it ) i just do it whenever i have a couple of mins. usually i dont even plan on drawing something i just start and see were it goes... i for one think that people have plenty of time, i think its more a matter of will...but that might be just me

Haha, working and deviant-arting, that's the way to go! Are you able to draw at work too, or it's too busy to do that?
I do always have with me some papers and pencils in case some inspiration strikes me, I used to draw quite often a couple of weeks ago, just like you said, started nowhere to see where it takes me. Then I re-discovered a book that took all my interest, therefore I read at work now, instead of drawing.

Sucks to be at work at this hour, I did have the luck to get an earlier shift today, otherwise I could have been at work myself now. Hopefully you're free tomorrow, cause I sure am

i had time to draw at work before, now not that much, but 10 min cant hurt, or thats what i hope. i suggest you finish the book faster and the start working again

i decided i'm gonna have a target of 1 drawing every 2 days so i'll make sure i practice ))

Uff, if only it would be THAT easy with this book, it's the second volume out of 5 and this one only has around... 700-800 pages; the others should be a bit smaller as I heard, but still :/. Hope it won't get me all the summer to finish them >__<

Hm, now that's some nice thing you proposed yourself; but you didn't follow any art school, or had some special classes, did you? Is it just a hobby so far? because you do seem quite determined to get better and better, and what could I say hear, I so respect that .
Well my determination should be back soon, I suppose. Like I said earlier, only checking your drawings in detail makes me wanna get some pen and start working. And I did get a new friend who's help me out with that too, someone who finished art school, art high school even university with bachelor degree @__@. Now isn't that awesome? Makes me wonder, why did I chose foreign languages and not Art? :/ What did you study by the way?

sorry for the late reply, i got of work, went homw and straight to bed
i didnt study anything anything art relate, i study economics...
it might actually be really nice if i can pass the hobby stage with this into something more but i'll need a lot of practice and work so thats y im trying to set up expectations from myself )

Wow, now that is something, economics. I did have my cousin study that and believe me, she had nothing to do with Art. Maybe you picked the "wrong" domain? Or you like economics as well? Would be really nice, means you're definitely balanced .
And believe me, you do have potential! (just get that scanner sooner than 2 years boy!)

I just went with the flow when it got to puck my college. wasnt thinking i'd want at some point to make anythung out of this. but now i've changed my mind i guess

Why don't you try going out, in a park for instance, getting some pens and paper for drawing; I did try that last year, and it's going very well. And you can enjoy so many things at the same time, spring nice weather, fresh air and drawing. Win win win
