Drawing this scene now STILL makes me cry :c
I, like any other artist who loves their fur-babies, hates to kill them off, but we know it makes an amazing storyline beginning or end. Alright! In case you are wondering why i decided to draw this scene again.. I'm in an art block and i asked my followers on Amino to help me get out of it and a lovely member told me to/gave me the idea to redraw an old scene to try and snap myself out of it. So here it is. Cometkit's Death redone!
Oki, the story behind this:
While waiting for their parents to get back from a hunting trip, Cometkit, Stonekit, and Featherkit get attacked by a duo of young rogues looking for food. Featherkit being the first oldest, manages to run off and alert her parents leaving her brother and sister behind in a flurry of claw and tooth. Stonekit stands in front of Cometkit in an attempt to protect her, but is thrown away. He hears a squeak from her and looks up to see her lying still before passing out. Bluejay and Twistedpath emerge from the undergrowth yowling and screeching at the intruders and fight. After the fight, they find that the rogues have kidnapped Stonekit and murdered their smallest kit, Cometkit.
I won't spoil what happens to Stonekit, but it'll be awesome and dramatic as he//.
