Colby, like all reptiles, is cold blooded. So, if the weather gets chilly at night he needs to sleep in the warm. That's where his heat lamp comes in, its placed tight beside his bed so he can have a comfortable night's sleep. He usually wears only a diaper when he's sleeping since his heat lamp makes it comfortable enough for him to do so.
