I got inspired by a similar photo (with similar toning) of rural train tracks in the morning mist. For the tracks I used Sketchup meshes for the rails and the anchors, and I created the shaders in Vue. The wooden ties are just primitives with textures, bump and specular maps I made.Created and rendered in Vue, postwork in PS as usual (plus a little bit of Filter Forge for enhancements). ...now that I'm looking at it again, it totally looks like an Instagram photo...

Long time, no see!
I'm back and open for commissions, specialising in character artworks from all kinds of Fantasy or SciFi settings – with reasonable prices to boot! 
It seems it has been almost three years since I last uploaded a journal, which is... shocking. 
Not really. As some of you might remember, I started working as a freelance author and artist a few years ago. Life became pretty busy and so I started to slowly fade away, up until the point where I didn't log into my dA account for a little over two years.
What happened in these two years?
