A sorta final coloring of my character to contest " Make your own Mutant"I painted this in MSpaint....God it took freakin forever...i want Photoshop!
Well i hope everyone likes it, i gave up on trying a background...Good luck to all the contestants!!

Name: Julia-Raine Alias: Liquid ShadowAge:19Height: '5 "1Weight: 105-110 (varys over time)Colors: Dark blues and shades of blacksPowers: Telekenetic(extreme) powers, dark blue black water( she also controls its speed, really fast water can cut the strongest of substences) and some power in telepathic mind control (not so extreme) Bio: Orphaned at 5 when family murdered, police lefted it as an unknown case, she vowed revenge on their killer which was baring the x-men symbol and obviously a mutant. She hates being a mutant and everything about them, so she wants to eliminate humans for not helping her nor finding the criminal, and mutants for earlier stated reasons.Yeah, her life from then on (5) was hecktec, struggle, and hard.
Suppositly, a bad guy knew of her powers and knew it only grows due to anger or extreme force so he kill her family showing his mutant powers and framing the x-men.

for me you have a good color scheme going already. if you want maybe you can add a gradient here and there, just to make the flame more, um, flamey

Its supposed to be water, but i imitated a flame, so yeah i know it look freaky and would look better by what you said, only thing is, MS paint can only go so far, Thanx for the advice!!

WHAT?! This is MS PAINT?! You gotta be kidding...this is...like.... O_O' !!! I know I've said it before, but seriously, you could sell your art. Maybe you don't want to, and I understand that and all, but some comic books out there I've seen could seriously use your talent. Yes you still need a LITTLE work, (and I mean little!) but you're as good as a lot of artists that I've seen, and better. Like, you've got movement, depth, character...all of your art is so expressive and beautiful, and you shouldn't waste it. It's a total gift, girl!

...... Wow. The amount of detail, 99% correct anatomy, on MS Paint? WITHOUT LAYERS?!??? Darn. Either I've just missed out by a few months on being born into the uber l33t artist generation, or you're truly one of the best artists to hit the face of the earth. Ergh.. ._.;;
Anywho: Yes, yes this is absulutely amazing. I was just in awe when I first saw it. The character design and costume, aswell as the perfect use of colors just blew me away and I believe I'm going to have to fav. it.
The only problems that I can see are probably her left hand fingers being a little short (Unless that's you're style. If so just ignore that remark.) and her right hand - It looks a little wonky and rushed. But never the less, this is the most "wow-factor" I've received from a drawing in a -long- time. I have the urge to do some fanart. o_o

this looks great. I am just like you i wish i had photoshop too cause i considered coloring my entry in paint too but then after i remembered i started a pic like 3 weeks ago on there and im still not finished i decided against it. So i must give you much props for the patience cause damn i know how long that takes.

True, but it also matters the size and detail in a pic, like this took me about 12 hours or more all together but three days off and on work of it
